North West Volunteer Centre is an approved training centre with QNUK - Qualifications Network UK and offer the following accredited training programmes:

QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
QNUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding & protecting Children & Young People (RQF)
QNUK Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Adults in Health & Social Care (RQF)
QNUK Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering (RQF)
QNUK Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace (RQF)

All courses are 6 hours and accreditation lasts for 3 years.  Please see drop down boxes under training for more details.

We also offer shorter introductory courses in Safeguarding and First Aid (3 hours) to suit the needs of community/voluntary groups and volunteers.  Attendees receive a  certificate of attendance.

We support volunteer involving groups with 'Volunteering health checks' - best practice, templates, funding options, volunteer recognition etc.
