Volunteers will receive free training by M&S staff to become a personal stylist. Volunteers will then have the opportunity to engage with women who are interested in getting an outfit of clothing to wear to a job interview. Each of these appointments can last up to 1 hour.
As clothing donations come in, volunteers have the opportunity to sort the clothing into sizes and record a list of clothing inventory. They will also be able to help with getting clothing ready to go out when a mobile service is required to the various locations.
Marketing & Administration
Marketing and promoting the programme could involve setting up stands at local job fairs, and other relevant locations. This will include giving information to women regarding the programme and taking enquiries. Other administrative duties to include taking bookings for suiting and interview skills training, updating social media marketing etc.
