We are currently recruiting 10 youth work volunteers to take part in an exciting project for young people! The volunteers will assist our staff to coordinate, supervise and deliver project activities under our Shared stories safe space project

“Shared Stories Safe Spaces: An Intercultural Northern Ireland” is aimed at improving attitudes between young people of different backgrounds and at increasing community knowledge around migration and immigration, encourage mutual respect and understanding of other communities to highlight the issues around racism, hate crime and discrimination.

The project will kick off with a 2 day residential at Carrowmena Activity Centre on the 18th & 19th August.

Shared stories safe space residential is supported by the Executive Office under its CENTRAL GOOD RELATION FUND.

Please note that an Access NI check will be required for you to take part in this project. For more information  please contact NWMF at the email address provided below: Louise.Moorehead@nwmf.org.uk
