Praxis Care Volunteer - Praxis Care


Praxis Care is seeking volunteers to support adults with learning disabilities or mental health issues in the Foyle area.

Praxis Care aims to empower and encourage service users to reach their aspirations and make their goals a reality.  The volunteer role involves offering friendship, companionship, support and a listening ear.  Volunteers will support individuals with life skills and accessing social and educational opportunities in the community.  You can provide valuable support either on a one to one basis or in a group situation.  Training and support will be provided to all volunteers and reasonable expenses incurred whilst volunteering will be reimbursed.

Volunteers should be over 18 years of age and be able to commit between 2 and 4 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
