Introduction to Adult Safeguarding Training


This training is aimed at anyone working or volunteering with vulnerable groups and/or adults at risk


This certified course covers the following:

 

What is adult abuse?

Why adult safeguarding is needed

Definition of adult at risk/adult in need of protection

Legal context of Adult Safeguarding

How might you become aware of abuse?

What do you do if you suspect abuse?

 

Next course will be delivered in Derg Valley Healthy Living Centre, Castlederg on 28th March 2017 from 3.00pm.

Cost:  Free for community/voluntary groups in Strabane District
