North West Volunteer Centre is now a registered body with Access NI to carry out Basic Checks. The centre has been registered as an Umbrella body since 2008 and has carried out 1000’s of applications on behalf of a wide range of organisations across the Derry City and Strabane District Council area and beyond. The centre has helped support organisations to fulfil their legal requirement for those working in regulated activities by facilitating standard and enhanced applications on behalf of paid staff and volunteers.
